Quit being so defensive. There is nothing wrong in taking note that the polls tend to be skewed by one group of people. Nor is it wrong of those people to vote in a biased manner.

It's not my fault, the data speaks for itself.

It is a known fact that some PS3 fanboys went and hit up the game pages and bumped MGS4 to 700k hits. At least 1 XBox and Wii fanboy tried to do the same with Brawl and Halo 3.

Now, this doesn't mean that there are a lot of PS3 fanboys skewing the votes, it just means there are at least a few who are auto-refreshing because they can't take the PS3 being last. In fact, quite a few PS3 fanboys got banned over the MGS4 bumping, and at least 1 Wii Fanboy got banned for it.

Some people need to just grow up and get over the fact that the PS3 is in last place, and will always be in last place (WW)

But how do we know the votes are skewed?  Do we know how many times each person voted?  You do know that if you clear your cache and whatnot, regularly (I do everyday) you can vote again.  And sometimes I forget if I voted, and I vote again.  Now being that the size of votes are only 1500, maybe some people don't have lives and continue to do that purposely.  The fact is, that you can vote more than once so the data is a non-issue.  And again, there was no defensveness, I just like to curse.

Don't get your panties in a knot. It is a fact that there are fanboys who can't take the world not fitting their dream land. This is proven by the games page most hit list, the polls, and other places where people can abuse the system to make their favorite system look better and the others look worse.

If you remember, all the old NES games were taking the top spots in the "best scored" categories that used to exist. until a PS3 fan came by and started doing the same exact thing. Currently the PS3 fanatics are out working whatever Nintendo fanatics are left on this website.

It's not that PS3 fans are more biased... it's that there are more of them now.

for the past 10 months the percentage of users on this site being mainly PS3 fans has been increasing, It has been the plurality set for a good while now (perhaps since MGS4 launch period) and is now probably the majority (over 50%)

Add that to the fact that, the most sales savvy of this website thought all three of the polls had way too many low voters (people didn't know how huge Christmas is)

The only problem was the after that, the PS3 didn't perform too well.

I don't know. But I don't think it's unreasonable to make these conclusions based on past results. Either there are a handful of batshiat crazy fanboys that want to cheat polls or in general there are more ps3 fanboys that will vote in a certain way.

I clear my cache after every session, but the poll rarely re-opens for me.... there have been 3 polls in which I have voted twice.
