hello.

i have a little problem with nxe and its ***ing pissing me off big time.

i have 3 DL titles on my hardrive hexic, double dragon and marble blast ultra.

double dragon and marble blast ultra i have both paid for.

the problem is a few weeks ago i tried to play them both and they was amazingly back to trial mode?

i was told by freinds to delete game, then try to redownload them again.

yesterday i took the time to get out my industrial length ethernet cable snaking all the way from upstairs down the steps and into my front room, ive re downloaded both double dragon and marble blast ultra.

MBU worked fine after re download but has again retorted back to trail mode, DD didnt work its still in trail mode

what the hell is going on, has anyone experianced this

i asked some live buddies yesterday, they said its a glitch with nxe that hasnt been fixed, with some users reporting they can only play arcade games if they are logged onto live, others its fine by them and in my case my games have gone back to trial mode..

this is unacceptable ive lost a lot of money on xbox 360, and if i loose any more with downloading xbox arcade titles that you may have a chance of them going back to trail mode, then thats surely the final turd in the waterpipe!

Bad luck man, never happened to me. But I do agree thatthe NXE does have some issues (like long screen loading times) that need to be ironed out.

well my load screens usually are pretty fine, only on a few occasions you know when you are sifting back and forth checking out titles using the new slide-tile system, it sometimes takes a long time to load the tile pictures.

but the trail mode thing is pissing me off.

 Just a quick question. Was your console ever replaced? Was it before or after you bought Marble Blast and Double Dragon or after that?

If it was replaced and you bought them before it was replaced than its the known DRM issue, and it would make sense that they are only recognized as full versions when you're signed into Live and they're back to trial versions when you sign out again.

I've read about a solution to that problem but I can't remember where exactly. I might have to dig it out again and post it in this thread.

my mate brought his hdd to my house and dl'd games onto that, they would work on my xbox fine but when he put his hdd back into his xbox they would only work when he was connected to the internet.

You can get microsoft to transfer it over so it works through one of their websites, I just can't remember how to do it.

The content you bought is "keyed" to your console ID and Live ID. When your friend took his HD out, you could have put yours in and you would be able to play the game since it was bought on your console. However, for him to be able to play it he has to log onto Live. So essentially your friend just bought you a game. : )

I do this with many of the arcade game in my house since we have two 360. I would buy content off my account but on my kids' console so they can play it when I am not log in. And if I want to play I just log into Live on my 360. This also nice as it let us play multiplayers game over system link.

You can transfer license but it transfer in bulk.

If you change your console or send them to MS, they suppose to transfer the license for you but you still have to redownload the "license" key. However some games glitch and don't transfer correctly. My ticket to ride constantly go back "trial mode" but usually if I get out of the game and restart it will correct itself. Still it's very annoying.

I thought you said a while ago you were going to throw your 360 in the trash? If I remember rightly :D

And I can only imagin you saw someone else having this problem (on said website) and fabricated it into one big lie.

How exactly did you lose so much money on the Xbox 360?
