@Outcast, Oh I don't believe that :D What little gameplay he had was very well laid out! I must say his stealth mechanics are top notch :3

It always bugs me when Kojima and those guys from Capcom talk about this. If Japanese developers start trying to cater to Western taste, things will get really dull really quick. As if the world needs more colorless sci-fi games. They're good in moderation, but games of style and charm should prevail. These western "hardcore" games all feel the same to me

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.
They need to keep that flair that makes them unique if they want to make games for the western audiences. There is a real style in many of their games, and in many ways the Japanese developers are the fathers of many of the modern game genres we see on consoles.
Tease.
Kojima should probably be working on ZoE 3 and not deluding himself to believe Japan cares that he likes another FPS.
TPS Mr. Stubbs? Tactical Person Shooter? I thought MGS4 was a game on Tactical Espionage that happened to play like the red headed love child of Re4 and MGS3.
I'm Unamerica and you can too.

Hmmm... I'd like to simply see "better Japanese targeted" games...

I'm not surprised about this. Kojima doesn't seem to be your average Japanese person. The Japanese are usually more modest like Miyamoto.
How many cups of darkness have I drank over the years? Even I don't know...
Kojima's been riding the "I want to be a rock star/ movie star/ some kind of star" train for a while, that's not secret, he makes his agenda clear, he wants gaming to be held on the same pedistal as movies. I wish him the best of luck on that. C_c

Why is it that Kojima talks about a lack of Japanese impact in the West as if Nintendo doesn't exist?
Is it because he lives in a world where Nintendo doesn't exist?
