Today my kids wanted to play Halo 2 on the 360. This is the first time trying to play since I swapped HDDs(my last one shit the bed) so it had to do an update and only the first level was available for playing on co-op. I'm sitting there watching it load and it seems to be taking a while. It got to 98% and then it dropped back down to like 80%. It did this a few times until it just stopped and said something like "you failed to load the map". I turned off the xbox and took the disk out and tried again but it just did the same thing.

I'm wondering if anyone knows what's up with this.

Nope sry. My copy of Halo 2 works without any problems.

Yeah mine did too on my other HDD.

Maybe clear the cache.
