You'll notice first, the guy reaks of badassery. The hairstyle, the vest, the tattoos and the mechanical arm that transforms into a gun!

Mr. Sazh or whatever his name is. Lacks ALL those features. Thus, is no where near as badass as this guy.

 

I'm severely disappointed at square-enix.

Balthier? Balthier is the best character in FF XII. This guy? this guy is an asshole. Theres a huge difference. The closest relative to him is Vaan, both look like jokes.

You need to chillax dude. He doesn't look that bad in the cutscenes and gameplay image, just the overly camp character art. How the hell can you call him an asshole?

An asshole by looks. Look at that afro, it's wrong both in art and cutscenes.

Besides, he looks extremely unoriginal, and tasteless to boot.
