I am wondering if anyone here has seen what these things look like in motion and if they are worth buying.

A buddy of mine got a portable 9.2 inch TFT screen for the xbox360. He really doesn't want it...infact he hasn't opened it. He is looking to sell it and wants 90 bucks for it.

i'd not buy it, the screen is small and the 360 isn't good for moving about :/

I bought one of those screens for the Gamecube. It was decent, but I really can't recommend that kind of product to everyone. If it's of similar quality, then that screen will get the job done. That's about it.

 Where? and would it be that compacy and fit with the 360? Id love to buy one. This would work great for when I go to a cottage with friends or something like that... Plus I already have a metal carry case and I think this would fit in along with the 360.

Im wondering why everyone is saying to pass on this.

Lets look at the facts -

-ITs small, portable and designed specifically for the 360, unlike other 3rd party lcd monitors
-It does 480p (852 x 480 Progressive Scan) which is pretty good for a monitor that size
-At 90 bucks flat, i havent been able to see a product that is cheaper and does the same

Im almost tempted to get it at future shop, try it...return it and buy it for my friend if i like it...

I don't get what these things are for.

They're not for gaming whilst on the move I assume (because the console still needs to be plugged in)

So presumably they're for the very few times when you want to take your 360 to a house that doesn't have a tv?

If its just so that you can game anywhere in your own house (bedroom, bathroom etc) then just buy a small, conventional lcd tv for much cheaper, and it'd probably be simpler

ya if your going to a cottage without a tv and you have to get your game on go for it other then that its not like a good 19in lcd

god i seen at retailer price 10' LCD going less than 100$ but that in my country i am sure you can find a better deal online.

but not fit a 360 u would need a power source.
