The game is really good.... The reason most often given is that the protagonist is kind of a spineless whiner in the first part of the game but most reviewers must have not made it past chapter 3 because he changes quite a bit.. the story is really good.. 

Add that to the fact that the Wii doesn't really have any RPGs (except Fire Emblem) and Europe is really missing out.

I really don't understand it. It would be the first JRPG on the frigging console, it will obviously sell decent, more than enough to make a small profit.

No, Vesperia is being brought over by Square Enix.

Tales game have had numerous publishers in PAL. Square, Ubisoft, and seems Atari was going to bring it.

And if these news is true, Tales may be overtracked in America. I wouldn't be surprised, every JRPG this gen on consoles has been overtracked.

Atari announced that there are no plans for a European release of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. They gave no reasons for this decision, but the author of the news thinks that the bad sales in America could be jointly responsible for this decision.

EDIT: There are also no plans for a European release of Klonoa: Door of the Phantomile

Also, I doubt ToS: DotNW is overtracked. Maybe that guy didn't know the difference between major RPGs/Tales series sales.

I know I saw it somewhere. I'll check the internet.

 

I hope I didn't confuse Tales with Eternal Sonata though.

No he didn't He said supposedly. It was hasn't gotten good reviews and user feedback is mixed.

accoarding to gamestats, the press score is 6.6 and gamer score is 9.1!

 

i haven't said that someone's opinion is less valid than mine, for god's sake!

i said that we already know OkeyDokey doesn't like the game (if she played it fine but if judging from reviews it's another story) but there's no need to repeat it in every thread that has to do with the game

and why should it be overtracked, because it got bad scores and it's a Wii game, it means it can't sell, so it's overtracked??

come on, the game is great and the sales prove it! also, for me gamer's score is more valid than press score

No it's not that at all. I think it may be overtracked, because I thought it was selling well. This tells me differently. That's all, and I'm not certain.

I haven't seen Okey bash it but I'm not everywhere.
