i can confirm it works, that's how i play the game!
the Homebrew channel is awesome, does every work Nintendo does not, has a great media-player than supports USB and SDHC, can download appliocations and update from the Wii internet connection and of course has the USB gecko application that plays games 100% region-free!

i know it, cause i live in Europe and i like Namco's games, and it always happens this way... : (
