Bad sales in America? It'll overtake Japan's sales within 1-3 weeks...

I was thinking the same thing..

It's only been out for two months and the sales have been steady.

good thing i imported this game when it came out in the USA.

Wii/Mario Kart Wii Code:2793-0686-5434

Sales of this game have not been brisk anywhere, unfortunately. They total 220k in Japan and 190k in Americas, according to VGChartz.

PAL conversion, meeting any multiple language requirements, PEGI approval, taxes, etc., probably are going to doom it.

Also, it does not help that the company which is supposed to be brining it over is not in good fiscal health (if it really is Atari).

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

WHAT?
So now, which one do I import? English or japanese version?
Tough choice.

Depends on whether or not you can stomach Emil's English VA.

Seems odd that they wouldn't bring it to the PAL regions.

that SUCKS!

what about all those Europeans that are waiting for the game!?

for god's sake, the other game Klonoa is awesome as well.....

Namco sucks, this means i'll have to order "Tales of 10" from ebay again....

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Learn to import an NTSC console, kids. Or at least chip yours to read all regions.

The PAL region is inferior to NTSC when it comes to games released in it, ToS's case shouldn't be a surprise to you.

The sad part is that the more people who import games rather than buying their local copies are actually the ones killing off their own local market by not supporting it.

 Valid points, but;

A a straight concersion from PAL to NTSC cost nothing a computer does it 10 minutes.

They could just release the English version for UK and Australia and other countries still may sell it in English only.

Getting it rated dose not cost much, in Australia its only a few hundred dollars.

They only get taxed on a fraction of what they make selling it.

Even if the game sells a small number of copies, its still more money than they get from not releasing it.

I only import what's not released in Europe or is very hard to find there, mon ami. (I'm talking PS1/2 games, I have both NTSC and PAL consoles).
