^^^ Jackson, honestly, God love you, but please stop nitpicking every word I write... It's very annoying. I've been respecting you equally, and have not been picking apart everything you write (and yes, sometimes it's very hard). But I've given you the basic respect of not criticizing every little word you write. I've been sticking to your main points. If you want me to start again, I'm game, I promise you...

Anyway, you know good and well what I meant.. more Arabs voted for Chamas than Fateh (not that it makes that big of a difference, because Fateh is nearly as bad as Chamas).

The point I have been trying to make is this:

Chamas ran on the platform of the annihilation of Israel, and the Palestinians liked this platform and voted them into power. Hence, the talk that Chamas doesn't represent the will of the people (which many posters in this forum imply) simply isn't true.

The assertion that although Chamas wants war, the Palestinian majority do not is simply not founded... the election of Chamas and independent polls show that this is simply illogical.

Divert attention from your mistake if you desire, but it was incorrect to say a majority of Palestinians voted for Hamas...correct?

Also, it is specious to say the Palestinians voted for Hamas because Hamas' platform advocated severing ties with Israel. Hamas won the election because of two main reasons: they are seen as honest and opposed to corruption, and they also provide an extensive social network that is vital to the vitality of many Palestinians. Fatah could have prevented a Hamas victory if they opposed corruption and provided basic services like Hamas does. Hamas' commendable social work is a stark contrast to their unfortunate and contemptible advocacy of the destruction of Israel.

I've tried to argue that too, Problem is all anyone knows here is that Hamas is a Terrorist, blah blah. Sure they have a very questionable military wing, however, people voted for them primarily due to what is bolded.

No... everyone knows they do that too... it's just pointless when they also fire rockets at civilians just to target civilians.

I mean... saying yes to rocketing innocent people just because they give you stuff doesn't lessen your moral culpatude at all.

I think its a matter of where they are reporting from. They can report but not from specific areas or within Gaza itself.

How many times do you have to see multiple videos of Hamas saying with their own mouth: "We use women and children as human shields because we welcome death" before you guys get the picture? I mean seriously, you can't really be in denial that badly? Civilians die because Hamas wants them to die! They use their deaths as PR.

Next, stop treating Israel like they are war mongers. Hamas started the war, and when the UN called for a cease fire, Hamas said "NO". So why would Israel stop firing when Hamas is the one who refused a cease fire? If "poor" Hamas is so sad over the civilian deaths, they could simply stop firing rockets and guns, and the Israelis would stop as well.

Why doesn't this happen? I'll say it again... HAMAS WANTS THE CIVILIANS TO DIE. They don't care about the women and children, and they are very open about this fact. Secondly, Hamas doesn't want peace, they want to drive the Jews into the sea... so really, what do you expect?

Oh yeah sure. Whenever a 5 year-old procedes to kick me in the shin and then contiues to try and fight me, even after their parent told him to stop, I always proceed to beat the shit out of the kid without holding back anything at all. I found that to be the best solution!

Ok Vlad, back to planet Earth for just a moment... they aren't kicking Jews in the shin. They are shooting rockets at civilian population centers. Secondly, they aren't little kids. They are a blood thirsty terrorist group who's main doctrine is to "drive the Jews into the sea"... and that doesn't mean they want to go for a swim with us. It means they want us all dead.

I'll show you just another example of Hamas' value on life and how much they really love the little Palestinian kids:

Oh yes, shooting rockets at civilian centers and all that... And with all their amazing efforts of driving them off into the sea and bombarding houses and what not they only managed to kill 3 Isreali citizens... Damn... let's go kill a 1000 in return! Don't get me arong, Israel should defend itself, but the way it's going about it is childish and outright wrong. They are not right in this case.

What do you suggest they do?

Kill three Palestinians then wait for more rocket attacks?

Bomb until they kill an equal percentage of the population?

isnt it illegal to attack the UN?

So is using the UN as a base to fire at people.  Unless your the UN.

Mr Olmert met UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon in Tel Aviv and apologised for the attack, but said Palestinian fighters had been firing from the UN site.

Also you know... we've already agreed that Hamas is using Children as human shields so yeah... a lot of children are going to die when they are being used as human shields.

I'm sorry, killing children is inexcusable, whether they are being used as shields or not. There are NO circumstances under which children should be killed, NONE. If you think otherwise, then that sounds more like a personal problem, one that needs fixing.

Also, I doubt the UN would let Palestinians fire out of one of their HQs unless the Palestinians forcing themselves upon it. In which case, are you telling me the UN needs Israel to help them out with?

Also what about the 2 hospitals? And the ships with much needed supplies that got turned away?

So then.  People are using a children as a shield in a building... and firing rockets at your house... at your family

What do you do?

There is no way to attack without endangering the kids?  So you let your own family take a rocket or two?  Or what?
