Buying a console at launch has it's downsides.
The majority of good games don't come out until a year has passed...
Very few launch titles would be worth the purchase of a new console.

It really depends on what that console has to offer. That goes for any other console that is going to be released in the next generation. You can't really make threads like this when this gen is far from being over.

Depends on cost and what games are available at launch. If the price tag is in the $250 range, I would more than likely pick one up at launch.
