I will play those games, thank you for noticing I own an XBOX 360.

 

But I'm not going to ignore the elephant in the room like how most people here are.

Im happy you have an HD console on which you can play the "Industry leading" 3rd party software.

However you fully know that the "elephant" isn't as big as you make it out to be. Both 360 and ps3 (soon) will have outsold the gamecube and xbox 1 in much less time. The market for HD gaming represents much bigger gaming pie than GC and Xbox 1 did anyways and are definetly worth discussing on their own terms...

In any case...if you want to discuss wii sales with the HD consoles, make a new thread. Have enough respect not to troll and spread the "Wii rules because it sells a ton...but I play my 360" awareness with every post you make.

No matter what happens, neither the PS3 or the 360 will have really "won".

 

Consoles owned: Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PSP, DS, PS3

I appreciate that this was probably a joke as much as anything else, but it is equally as valid to say

DVD outsold Blu Ray in 02' - '08, therefore it will always outsell it
or
the 360 outsold the 720 in 05' - '09, therefore will always outsell it.

Yeah that elephant isn't big at all, it just captured 50% of the market really quick, having much larger software sales and will be a bigger influence on the future of gamers and mainstream now.  Its no way as important as fighting the HD war because we all know, fighting on the smaller market and not making a profit is how its done. 

 

Now excuse me I'm going to put my head in the sand.
