It was Apparent because it seemed to have happened as it was off screen and you heard the gun go off leading you to suspect that Snake killed himself, coupled with Otacon's and Snake's Monolouges and yeah before the credits end it makes the player think that Snake is dead a. if Kojima ended it there Snake would be dead via suicide. You mean to tell me you actually expected the de-briefing to happen?

Yeah... uh.  That was exactly my point.  You know Vader is Anakin by the second movie...  So the prequels were all leading up to the obvious

Yeah... uh.  That was exactly my point.  You know Vader is Anakin by the second movie...  So the prequels were all leading up to the obvious

 

 

Actually first movie since they say Vaders real name in the original movies and they call the slave boy Anakin in the first movie of the new films and if you're like me you went "that's vader? o_O" and then wished Episodes I and II never happened, though III lived up to what I was expecting from episodes I and II, though still created plotholes >_>

BTW someone said I should post a spoiler warning on my review of Crisis Core cause I talked about Zack dying lol.

Well i meant you knew by the second "older" movie.

By Empire you knew Anakin was lukes father who turned to Vader.

OOOOOOOH yeah things get mixed up cause of the whole episode deal they did when making the new films <_< I would rather just going back to the way things were, Star Wars, Empire strikes back, and Return of the Jedi.  Really it's that simple and everyone knows the movie :P

it's a nomura only thing mainly.

it games like IX and XII that effect it's not so noticeable.

unless u felt sad about ashe' lost, that you never knew.

I didn't know he was going to die having never played FF VII (now I am just waiting for the remake) but then I read somebody's review..... and it ruined it for me

Still it was an extremely emotional ending to the game, and I found it incredibly sad seeing the end. However, throughout the game I was quite surprised how pathetic Cloud seemed, yet he is one of the most popular character's ever. Other games have tried to make me feel great loss at the death of a character, a certain recent game tried and it did not quite work, though it was a shocking ending {I won't spoil it by saying what game it was}.

yeah that was the event that made cloud more closet to other people, before he was just like a puppy.
