Honestly, there's not much else to talk about.

The 360 is doing what it has been doing from the start - decent sales, improved over the XBox, but not blowing anyone away. Consistency is boring.

The Wii? It's a phenomenon that most us really don't get (I'm glad for it, but don't get it), and the only change that may be coming is a peripheral that's months away, and some games (Deadly Creatures, MadWorld, Conduit) that we really, really know nothing about and have no idea how they'll appeal to the Wiimarket.

The PS3, though, is where the action is. The fans are rightfully excited for the lineup (though the fanboys are positively delusional about Killzone 2's impact on the PS3 sales), and the sales on the system have gone from shitty, to decent, to poor/mediocre in the span of 18 months. We have the possibility of a price cut (something neither Nintendo nor Microsoft is likely to do unless Sony does it first), and questions on how that might impact the system.

In short, whether one is a booster, a detractor, or simply an interested spectator, all the action is in the Sony court right now.

i need proof, can you guys stop this. Most of the talk about Killzone has been about its graphics, where do you get the sales overhyping?

Nice damage controll but you were flat out wrong about the RRoD thead. Also a few days? psh if hat Ps3 is doomed thread isnt dated in August then it was more than a few days.

And that isnt even the first official RRoD thread lol... I didnt ven know that one existed

Damage Control LMFAO... Wow... I mean coming from a damage control person like yourself.. I'm at a loss for words...

Here's the "Official RROD" search..    yep... so many..

See people like to try nd discredit people by just saying they are just controlling the damage. Thats usually just people who have no evidence or proof or facts to back up they say. so instead of typing out an educated rebuttal to lets say someone like me who is right they just say "damage control"

See this situation is a perfect example. You were flat out wrong and yet you still tried to justify yourself. I said how wrong you were and you were playing damage controll. Notice your defence afterwards? You said I like to play damage control. but the difference is I was right in this thread. You were wrong. You tried to justify yourself. I called you out on it. and your response was "but but but damage control you"

I think it may be that most of the "hardcore" gaming public would prefer to see the PS3 get up and back into the fight this year. The fiercer the competition, the better, in the gaming enthusiast's eyes.

The PS3 is "down", so the threads rooting it on have gone "up". Plain and simple. No intelligent gamer wants the competition in this console generation to end too early.

I'll put it this way: If you surveyed gamers on this site, and asked them how many hours they put into Animal Crossing: City Folk in the past month, I bet it'd be WAY lower than the Nintendo stats claim the average time put into it is.  The readers/posters here are SO into gaming, they go out of their way to track console and PC game and hardware sales, or even give their opinions on it.  To the average console owner... this site is a complete waste of time.

Made a sig to pretty much sum up everyone's feelings about it.
