Well as I said, GT5, Uncharted 2, GOW III releasing this year is all PS3 needs this year to tear apart the 360. GT5 would take care of anything 360 has, GOW 3 and Uncharted 2 would be the icing on the cake.

Is there anything wrong with that? There's no reason at all to delay announcing games. If someone's looking at a console to buy they can see PS3 with a large amount of amazing games announced or they can look at the Wii with no Nintendo games shown at all. I'm sure it's influenced someone.

Doesn't seem to be influencing that many people. The Wii is still supply constrained, while the PS3 is... sales demand constrained.
Edit: fixed

People looking at a games console will be looking more at the released library than the upcoming lineup.
Just looking at that evil Metacritic place...
Tease.

That's just untrue. PS3 would be in a terrible position if it didn't keep the hype train rolling for unreleased games back when it had "no good games".
If you take casual/non-gamers out of the equation entirely and look at hardcore gamers/people on games forums/people who buy into all the hype I would imagine the Wii, PS3 and the 360 are all on an equal level sales-wise.
Wii wins easily Sin & Punishment 2, Punch Out!! & What ever Nintendo announces plus some of the third party games are more appealing to me than anything on PS3. 360 has Star Ocean so they get second by default.

Are you implying that hardcore gamers who haven't purchased at least one console system exist in any great numbers? The people on these forums pretty much all own consoles, and 2nd/3rd systems aren't exactly big money spinners for console companies.
At this point Microsoft's philisophy is under-promise and over deliver. So one must remember that when comparing games lineups at this point.
Tease.

We already knew in 2006 Gears of War is to be a trilogy, so IMO Gears 2 for 2008 wasn't much of a surprise and part 3 is expected for 2010. More of a suprise to me is that the most delayed game released this gen, Too Human wasn't really good. Alan Wake we already know about since 2005. Other 2009 360 games like Splinter Cell: Conviction are long overdue as well, it was originally to be released in 2007.

Yeah, very true. We've known about Alan Wake for almost half a decade now and still no date. Even Killzone 2 has a release date. And Splinter Cell is taking forever; it's a shame, I love the Splinter Cell series. Not to mention Fable 2 and Halo Wars were announced back in mid-2006. Lord knows where people get the idea that Microsoft announce all their games early.
