I don't see any hate in this thread.  Just because someone doesn't think 2009 is the year of the PS3 doesnt' mean they hate Sony, many PS3 fans have spent the whole gen failing to make this distiction.  Just looking at 2009 logically will tell you that it is not going to dominate.  Also the fact that the OP fails to talk about the wii and still claims dominance fails hard.

In addition, even if someone did hate the PS3 it doesn't mean they hate Sony, it only means they hate the PS3.  The PS3 is 1 machine, Sony is a company that makes many machines.

No it won't, but it doesn't matter really as long as your enjoying the games.

i dont think it will dominate 2009, it mite sell a little bit better than 360 (i think).
if ps3 does dominate than my ps3 prediction of 2009 will be as accurate as my 360 prediction for 2008.(not very accurate)

In conclusion; the PS3 won't sell a single unit from here on out, since everyone who wants to play PS3 games clearly already own one. I was hoping it would at least the Gamecube's lt sales, guess not...

I like sony but lets be real WII will dominate as it has every year, if sony can drop the price $100.00 they can start to take on 360 otherwise enjoy third place cause you wont even be closing the gap on the 360 without the price cut

QFT.  Seriously, what games were released on the Wii this year that justified the # of sales it got?  I'm struggling to find anything besides Punchout to put on my Wii wishlist, yet I can't seem to keep up with my PS3 wishlist.
