all the time, i have played with other schemes but none are even close to as fun it is with the wheel.

Wiimote/Nunchuck FTW!

I use thw Wii Wheel 50% of the time, except online where it gets 0% playtime.

i prefer the GC Controller :)

You don't use the wheel for time trials or the competitions.

You have some really good time trials by the way.

If you're not using the Wheel you aren't playing Mario Kart Wii.

Yeah, I'm way better with the Wii Wheel/Nunchuck, but the Wii Wheel is way more fun, so if it's a casual race, then Wii Wheel, if it counts for something, then add nunchuck.

The Wiimote+Nunchuck set up is much tighter, and makes the more difficult courses a doddle..... having said that though the Wii Wheel is so much more fun!, when i first saw it at E3 I thought to myself "what a pile of crap" but having played with it I must say Im a believer! lols

so 90% of my play time is with the wheel with 10% for the Wiimote+Nunchuck...

I do, and I like it the most having tried the Wheel, the GC controller and Wiimote/Nunchuk.

It's precise and more fun.

When I'm playing with my brother or gf, I let them use the wheel and I play using the Wiimote only... it's almost the same thing, just less convenient to press the B button and slightly less intuitive.

Wheel all the way. I haven't even tried the old control styles. That would be like playing Wii Boxing with a classic controller.
