Forums - General - Is your audio .mp3 or .aac?

I only use .mp3
320kbit/s .mp3!

Mini Rant: (Stupid Apple and their damn iTunes has infuenced Nintendo to update Photo Channel to only support .aac and same goes with their DSi.)

I dunno why certain companies are switching formats. Overall I still think .mp3 is the superior and most used audio format as apposed to .aac or .wma and so on.

Question - Ive got a Wii with Photo Channel 1.1 does anyone where I can get a .WAD to downgrade to 1.0 I bought mines in April it was alrady pre-loaded and I cant downgrade like others.=(

I use both I guess? I don't really care too much...

I try to use AAC
(>'.')>

I use MP3.

I used to think that MP3 320 was necessary, but I can never tell the difference between V0 and 320. I rarely notice the difference between FLAC and the other two as well, although FLAC has a lot of uses at least in terms of transcoding.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I think I've never had an .aac file. Mp3 for all my songs

both, couldn't care less either

MP3. I hate Ipod and their stupid aac

I used my PS3 to rip all my cd's into AAC 320. I also use that on my PSP. On my computers, I use FLAC since space will never be an issue and it's ideal for archiving a music collection.

BTW, valkyria, I don't want to be one of those people, but all the elements of your sig takes forever to load...

Whats AAC suppose to be? I know it's a type of audio but I definitely never heard of it?

AAC = MP4, It's the successor of MP3 that is used by iTunes, among others. At 320kbps, AAC and MP3 are pretty much the same quality, at high-compression levels (smaller file sizes), AAC wins out.
