Yes, Graphics also means the creativity of the actual environment. Displaying brown and gray does not mean good graphics, no matter how good the brown and gray look. Even in that Area Crysis is better than Killzone 2, both lose to a lot of other games in that respect however, but at least you see a whole tropical island worth of beauty in Crysis. That said Crysis still comes out on top. As I've stated, I've been staring at grays and browns for over a decade, no thank you. And crysis still wins in sheer power, that is, physics, polygons, textures, etc.

Exactly, Killzone 2 animates better than anything else I've seen thus far, but as we know, the PS3's specs allow for such complex animations which is also where I've been saying it differentiates itself from the 360 the most: physics/animations, thanks to the SPUs.

Haha, Crysis looks way better than Killzone 2. Anyone who second guesses Crysis has obviously never actually seen it running on a good PC. No number of screenshots or videos can ever truly represent how good Crysis looks. On my friends comp it runs on Ultra High and it looks amazing. And honestly, on my computer than only runs it on Low, it looks better than the screenshots and videos of it running on Ultra High do.

A video or a screenshot of a game can not give a true appreciation of how good it looks while someone is playing.

No, your fails amuse me. You criticise KZ2 for being gritty and grey? Have you ever seen Band of Brothers? Its dull and gritty but its fantastic. It shows how war is and is very appropriate. Would the Helgan look right in an Uncharted setting......No. Its like criticising Uncharted for being too colourful

 

Yeah... Band of Brothers wasn't graphically impressive, especially because of its gray and brown.... I'm willing to explore the Uncharted vs Crysis however.

How was Band of Brothers not graphically impressive?! considering it is a TV series and not a game :p . I'll assume you meant Brothers in Arms or something.

Crysis is just not all about graphics its also about physics, every in the world is movable from the leafs on the tree that sway in the wind to the brushes on the ground. People have got to see Crysis playing (not some video from youtube). Consoles won't see them sort of graphics until next gen. On my rig (3.0ghz, 4gb ram, gf 8800gtx 768mb x SLi), I can only play with most settings on high to very high to get get constant 40-60fps at 1080x1050. The same happen when Haze screen shots started coming out.

Wow there are two threads on this subject in gaming forum.

Which if course isn't impressive because it sounds like PS3 fans are still insecure that they haven't reached basement dweller status of most PC gamers.
