"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

I'm more curious about the multiplayer aspect of the game.

I've been waiting for Valve to disclose anything at all about eposide 3 for a year or so. DAMN YOU VALVE! WHERE ARE YOU!

2 months is not very long. Be patient.

They got a publisher who shut off the pipeline. :p

I think next time we see it, it is gonna be kinda like when everyone faw MP1 at E3. We are gonna be very pleasently suprised.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

I heard they were updating the Quantum 3 Engine, thus no new trailers would be released while they were doing so.... but I didn't think it would take this long...

Maybe they're planning some sort of huge announcement for the game...... Like Split screen! (Yeah right lol :P)

 From wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Conduit

Following E3, High Voltage Software updated the Quantum3 engine with several new features, including a depth of field effect, heat distortion, and specularity. The developer also claimed it was working to increase the number of predefined death animations that occur when the player kills an enemy, so that each different enemy type would die differently depending on the weapon used against them.

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

Don't rush the game. But I will admit that this game is getting a little quiet now. It was really in good standards a couple of months ago, not its slowly fading away. It wouldn't hurt for High Voltage to release at least a update on the game.
