Forums - Website Topics - Speak a foreign language? VGchartz wants YOU!

I give news. I progress. It'is difficult. Will diomedes1976 help me, when i finish?

For french.

I am from Denmark and can speak:
- Danish
- English
- German

But there has already been 2-3 from Denmark.. And a couple speaking german.
My wife can speak Indonesian and Javanish, but don't think she will help..

I can also help for Greek. I live in UK for 4 years, thus I am quite skillful with the english language. Furthermore, I specialize in writing in greek as I used to be a writer for game magazines. I study Computer Games Development, which also gives me a further reason to be interested in this. I am 24 years old by the way.

I see that you have found a greek person, but do hit me up if my resume sounds at all interesting.

If it is of any use, I also know some basic Japanese, German and French -- but not enough to help with these languages. But this does help me come out as a communicative person. I have also worked in the past on translations in software and I am going to be a more active translator in the future.

Hello VG Chartz.

I grew up in Holland and I would love to help VG Chartz.
The language that I am talking about is Dutch and I speak it very well.
It is primarly spoken in Holland(The Netherlands), and South Afrika. But an alternative version of Dutch is also spoken in Belgium. Though the grammar is a lot different.

I hope I can help you guys.

Daniel.

Note: The Language that Mariok is talking about is NOT Dutch but a language that looks a lot like Dutch. It is called Flemish and the grammer is very different.
Also many words that they use are unknown in my country

My country of birth is the Netherlands (Holland, Óllanda, Niederland, etc....). My native language, Dutch (The language spoken by the people in the Netherlands for those who don't understand that). It is also spoken in Indonesia (People of 80 years + mostely. Since it was a colony, btw). South africa (especially the white guys there and in some black neighbourhoods something that looks similar to it). On the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonera, Curacoa... Kind of) and half of Belgium.

I was grown up with English in my direct surroundings so my English is good, for example: Im fiftheen but i read english books like the The da vinci code or Harry potter and the Deathly hallows, or Artemis fowl.

I can also speak a little French, German, Ancient Greece, Latin. And yes, my education is grammar school! ...

Only problem: Im still under 18 years old. If that is a problem for this 'Task' of yours... But hey, lets just wait and see. ...

Belguim has three languages: dutch , french and  german. Flemish is not a official languages.  In South afrika they speak "afrikaans". Dutch is spoken in Aruba, Belgium, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles and Suriname. ( Total of 23 million people). Belgium is a strange country  as it comes on languages. we're so small but there are three different languages. There also many words that they use are unknown in my country.  The grammar is normal the same. But if we want we can understood each other perfectly.  I life a few minutes from the dutch border. So I know a lot of words that you use.  You always can look at wikipedia for more information.

Mabye we can cooperate. Then can everyone understood it.
