Nintendo is "not" even at the TGS :=/

Nintendo is among the crowd at the GC, if I'm not mistaken. Let people play several games.

Ninty will have their own event during the time of the TGS , but they won't be at TGS.

Nintendo platforms could dominate TGS even though Nintendo the publisher won't show up ...
It would be an unlikely turn of events being that Nintendo is the most dominant publisher on their own platform but there are several upcomming Japaneese published Wii games that we know nothing about which could show up and surprise everyone ...

Sony will own these 2 events showing news game for 2008
trying to say to gamers :"wait us, dont buy any console this year, but buy a PS3 in 2008 !!!"

Europe is Sony kingdom
and Nintendo will not be at TGS
However u are right about Japanese non-nintendo games ...
but what happens if news about FFXIII is showed in the TGS ???

Remember we are in POST E3 2007, wind has turned, PS3 games are here.

Time to Work !

Hmm... afaik Nintendo will be there, too. The person who took pictures just happened to focus on Sony, as it seems.
But I must admit I am puzzled by N's decision to stay away from TGS.

Currently playing: NSMB (Wii)

Waiting for: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii), The Last Story (Wii), Golden Sun (DS), Portal 2 (Wii? or OSX), Metroid: Other M (Wii),
... and of course Zelda (Wii)

So far Sony is 3-0 on game conferences for the year. Hopefully Leipzig and TGS continue that trend :D

Anyone care to make any big predictions?

Two things I think there is a good chance of seeing: 8 Days and The Getaway.

These are much more likely to make a showing here than at TGS. Also, I think The Getaway is being developed by a European Sony studio...

Anyone got any predictions for any big new stuff?

Nintendo'll dominate the TGS, though.

YOU STOLE MY AVATAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

on topic: Watever game console the kh spin off appears on that will make the company dominate. Also if FF XIII pops up...sony dominates for sure ;D

Sony hasn't actually won an event this year. Would be interesting to see if they can win one. The GDC saw a number of Wii related announcements. While the E3 show had Microsoft making a very strong argument with their lineup. Sony has seemed very flat, and uninspired.

I would not put much stock in what Sony will bring to this event. You just know they are going to save everything they have left for the TGS. Where they will get a guaranteed blowout. No Nintendo to fight off, and Microsoft is a bad word in Japan.

Sony has stripped their future library bare. They are showing off games that will not arrive for well over a year now. Most of the titles are at the least seven months away from the market. They have depleted the well folks. Nintendo, and Microsoft have yet to really sink theirs. Nintendo has shown only one first party game for next year. Microsoft has barely scratched the surface also. So they have serious depth to work with. Damn them both for being the holding out types.

I predict that Nintendo, and Microsoft will probably unveil three big titles each. They will each get three midrange titles announced. Sony will announce one big title, and have one midrange title announced.

Well, it has been said by some analysts that sony is going to talk about its upcoming VOD stuff as well as an upcoming FreeviewTV service.

I also like how Sony is working to do things worldwide, and is trying to be a worldwide player, not just a US player like MS.

@ Dodece
Yeah that is Sony's biggest problem. The Playstation has so many good games coming out that people can't afford all of them so they just decide not to get one. I think we have just found the answer to shift in the industry. It seems people would rather buy a platform with 1 good game a year and a bunch of really bad ones for the rest of it. This way they know they will only get one game a year for sure, and then if they get any others they are just waisting their money.
One other thing. Sony has won every conferance this year. They won GDC with, Home, and Little Big Planet, and they Won, E3 with, Killzone. I think ckmlb counted Gamers Day, but they couldn't have lost their as it was a Sony only event.

Now on to GC. It is a garentee that Sony will when this event. They will show more MGS4, GT5 for sure which are 2 of the biggest games in europe. They will have more on Singstar Which is also very big over their. I have to agree with ckmlb that they will show 8 days and The Getaway, as the Later is very big in thouse parts, and 8 Days is also a European developed game.

Playstation 3 will win this generation. The only reason it is not the best selling platform right now is because people don't understand it. Once Sony can show to the masses, it is more than just a game console, it will take off. I know a lot of people have brought up previous generations and how one platform grabs the market and runs without loooking back, and that Nintendo has put them selves in that situation, Their is one differance in this generation. The other consoles have more to offer. Next generation will come around, and when it does new gen will take the back seat.
