My 13 year old has had a 360 since launch. (1 rrod so far). It is his system, he saved his money and paid for it with a little help from me.  But its totally his system and he keeps it in his room. I go in and play some split screen COD or play sports games with him from time to time but thats about it.  I dont care much for sitting on the bed playing games lol.  I like to lie down on the couch like a bum.

Sooooo, I was at Best Buy the other day and on a whim I said "screw it" and picked up an Arcade bundle. I also picked up Gears of War 1, Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden 2, and Crackdown. I will pick up a HDD later and maybe upgrade to Live Gold. Tales of Vesperia is looking pretty tempting as well.

My PS3 will still get most of my lovin, but the Xbox exclusive list is too good to ignore for this old gamer.

NG2, huh? Get ready to pull your hair out. I still haven't recovered enough to attempt a second playthrough.

Congrats, the more consoles the merrier! I have moved to the PS360 camp in June and its great.

Are you planning on getting your multiplats on PS3 or 360? You'll find achievements quite addictive, especially if you join the VGC gamerscore league, but of course you'll also want trophies...

Thats a good question Munkeh. When I go Gold, I will probably wanna join in with my kids gaming sessions, so Xbox will get priority there. I didnt mention that my 19 year that has left the nest also has a 360, so it would be nice for us all to play together.

Achievements vs Trophies......that might get tough lol.

Yea man, Im old. I have been at it since the Atari 2600 days. I will probably die with a controller in my hand. Luckily my wife is a gamer as well. She mostly plays RPG's on the PC, but at least she understands my hobby. Gaming keeps me sane :)
