Great game just for the amount of playability. Ive spent over 90 hours on it so far (over more than one save game obviously) just trying to find all the bobbleheads, need 2 more of them...

Wait a sec. I was thinking of picking up the PC version. I invested a moderate amount of time into Oblivion... i.e. all the subquests in the 5 main groups(fighter guild, arena, etc) besides the mages guild... and though I enjoyed it I found the same problems with it that you guys have with Fallout3. Should it still be worth picking up?
fallout 3 is the best game i've played so far in this generation!
he vault part(s) are awesome SPOILER: There are a lot of vaults in the game, each with a total different kinda mini-storyui
I agree that when you get out of Vault101 for the first time you are intimidated by the scale of everything. After the WOW wears of you are stranded in the middle of nowhere. But when you wrestle yourself through that part (I suggest you head to the nearest town and then blow it up with a nuke, it's fun). You get the hang of it. Then you'll find the game is IMMENSE and really awesome! You can have 100+ hours of fun exploring all kinds of things SPOILER: You have alien landing sites where you can find guns that can only be found there (alien blaster with 120 ammo), you have top secret high-tech bases with TESLA-ARMOR, there's the oasis, rivet city, you can help hamlet and his band of slavers and another 50+ sidequests and a lot of different locations
The V.A.T.S system works really well, the game's RPG and FPS elements are combined well with a leveling system and perks that REALLY have an effect. Also your Karma is important to gain followers! You can even get a Dog!!!
Yes, the game gets a little easy once you reach the higher levels (15-20) but that's ok to me! So much to explore, so much to do still! But beware, stop playing the main-story line at the end. Once you finished it you can't continue to wonder through the nuclear wasteland! Or save just before the ending ofcourse!
I'm at level 20 now, I chose the perk where you can see where all locations are (but you have to get there first by foot to fast-travel) and I'm 60+ hours in it! So far I've finished A LOT of sidequests but there's still so much to be done in the game!
Buy it, cherish it! Enjoy it! And play it thoroughly! This game is one-of-a-kind!
