According to Dengeki, Dissidia sold 105,000 last week, and is currently at 775,000 LTD. Not much of a difference, then.

Well, that too! =P
Dengeki Hardware for last week:
NDS 255,406
Wii 128,951
PS3 71,843
PS2 16,265
PSP 192,140
X360 20,505
Numbers are so close with regards to the top 4 that a couple of thousand difference couple bump anyone of them up/down a space or two.
Though its odd that VG ranked it 4th while both Media Create and Famitsu gave Dissidia the top selling spot.

Software for Wii/DS is lower in MC than VGC. Everything is lower other than Dissidia.
Updated OP with the hardware numbers
DSi 182,518
PSP 157,088
Wii 119,965
PS3 60,654
DS Lite 48,160
Xbox 360 19,694
PS2 12,548
jRPGs aren't dying in Japan anytime soon. It's evident living here. The problem is, outside of Japan, jRPG supporters are turning to FPSes, unfortunately.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
Conservatives: Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.
