I'm somewhat curious to see how Vgchartz purchasing patterns in 2008 compared to market patterns. So I think we should conduct a survey of what people bought in 2008 and then tally the results.

I'll go first.

In 2008 I bought:

Wii: Blast Works: Build, Trade and Destroy (May), Boom Blox (May), De Blob (Dec), Geometry Wars: Galaxies (Jan), MLB Power Pros (Dec), Nights (Jan) and Wario Land: Shake It (Dec)

I have only played three so far because I had a massive backlog going into the year...still playing Blast Works

DS: Advance Wars: Days of Ruin (Aug), Brain Age (Aug), Professor Layton (Aug), Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution (Dec), The World Ends with You (Aug), Yoshi's Island DS (Dec)

Only gotten through Professor Layton so far. Still playing Advance Wars

WiiWare: Final Fantasy: My Life As a King (May), Gyrostarr (uh I forget), Lost Wnds (Dec), Mega Man 9 (Dec), Orbient (Dec) , World of Goo (Dec)

Finished My Life as a King and World of Goo. Both excellent. Just started Mega Man 9

Overall, I bought 19 games. Been so damn busy I've only played seven of them so far.
