During the 42nd minute...
"More then 1.3 million unique users are playing this title"
Doesn't say anything about sales... as a matter of fact, couldn't multiple users be playing off the same copy?? Meaning that LBP sold even less??
Edit: Twesterm I think you still won your bet!!

@Gebx
That's assuming every single person that bought the game is playing it online, you prepared to make that argument?

Could mean that. Also, it could be used copies of the game around, which would bring the number down even lower. Or if you borrowed a game, could be even lower.
But it doesn't take into account people not playing on PSN, people who don't have internet access, or people who haven't made PSN accounts yet.
And this argument was presented earlier (by me coincidentally), if you read the thread, you'd see that the information Kaz gave doesn't give credence to whether or not the actual number is higher or lower than 1.3 million, which, again, was already said earlier in the thread.
But you probably don't care since you're part of the LBA.

We could estimate 70% of users go online...
Its the PS3, free online and wifi would translate into a pretty high rate of users online.... Add the fact that user generated content is LBP's bread and butter.
But that doesn't change the fact that Kaz said 1.3 million UNIQUE users have played LBP. Wouldn't most people playing LBP at home have a friend or two join them to play just to try it out? I thought LBP big selling points was that it was a Friendly Family Coop Game that you play online for unlimited amount of gameplay??

You can access PSN on your PS3 without signing in??
Edit: Let me rephrase that question - Can you access LBP online stuff without signing in to PSN?
Edit2: If you play online maps with local coop, does every user have to have a registered username?

But you have no evidence for it to be 70%, you're just guessing, and then you'll be guessing at how many people made PSN accounts for their friends to play LBP (because there is a "guest" option which would not show as a different PSN user). So in the end you can tell absolutely jack crap about the overall sales for LBP using this number other then it probably being more than 1.3 million and probably less than say 2.6 million (because probably more than 50% of people who buy it go online).

Actually DMJ, it is just as likely (more likely) he is talking about the number of people who bought the game, as he doesn't say "playing online."
