Hahhahaha, that was so hilarious I started tearing up.

I would love to download and play their translated version of Mother III if I was 1000% certain NOA or Nintendo wouldn't sue me because I have been waiting for that game since 2005.

What? It's perfectly legal.. >_>

You're missing out!

I would buy it if they would bring it out here in the USA as their last GBA game (maybe before they bring out the DSi since it doesn't have BC), and I think that at least 500,000 other people would too. I think the thing about this game is that NOA might not understand it on some level, but I think that the SNES Earthbound was the closest thing that I've ever seen in videogame form to something like Robert Anton Wilson's Illuminatus! Trilogy.

Are you sure?  What makes it perfectly legal?

Well do you own the Japanese copy of the game? If you do (I got it when I was in Japan 2 summers ago) then it's perfectly legal. =D

Even still, since it's a fan translation and Nintendo hasn't even released it here, I don't think it's illegal to download it, however I'm a bit unaware of the specifics with those laws.

It's not legal unless you own the actual game I suppose.  Even then it's a little grey with it being a slightly modified copy (translated by a third party).

Nintendo wouldn't sue you though.

edit: wfz beat me

Nice capture of the frustration of that community. I'm not sure if it's ever going to happen, though, mostly because Shigesato Itoi doesn't want it to, which i think is part of the reason why Earth Bound was dummied out of the USA release of Brawl

The strange thing is that Earth Bound was re-rated by the ESRB a long time ago, and we still haven't seen it.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

lol, thats pretty funny
