Every time I opened an EGM, it was always bashing Nintendo games. Either you guys are lying, or I happened to constantly get the wrong issues. I'll take your word for it, though.

Ah well, at least they're not as bad as Game Informer. Only reason I get that anymore is because it comes with my Edge card subscription.

*goes back to playing Braid.* =|

Well, since you weren't a subscriber, that probably goes to show you something.

However, I have read every EGM since #176 nearly cover-to-cover and I never read anything that was anti-Nintendo, that wasn't true.

Fact: The GameCube desperately needed online.

Fact: PSP is a more marketable handheld to tech-fetishists.

Fact: Battalion Wars sucked. So did Geist. So did Wii Play.

Most of the EGMs I've read were pre-176. I only specifically remember the actual issue number of one that I owned (#100).

Still.

Issue 150 - Super Metroid named greatest game of all time

1997 GotY - GoldenEye 007

1998 GotY - Ocarina of Time

This is some payback for putting Endless Ocean in the "non-games" section.

Ya, EGM did recognize No More Heroes as game of the month... granted no shooters were released that month.

I'm Unamerica and you can too.
