As in, they expect it to outsell the PS3 itself?

Hmmmm....well, it is always nice to set goals, however, I think that MGS4 will continue to hold that title.

I think so, too, considering MGS4 was bundled and a sequel to a highly acclaimed series, rather than a sequel that probably hopes to make people forget the first game.

Edit: Looks like Motorstorm is the #1 selling PS3 exclusive now. Whoops.

Call of Duty 4 has higher total sales and higher current weekly sales than MGS4.

Call of Duty 4 managed such sales despite the mediocre reception of Call of Duty 3 because it was a damn good game, and had legs as such.  Assuming Killzone 2 is as good as we think it will be, I don't see why it couldn't repeat Call of Duty 4's success. Shooters sell like mad, afterall.

I also doubt that it will outsell MGS4 but here's hoping that the game sells very well!

I will be buying this first day anyway so lets make this game the 2nd Exclusive to sell over 1 million copies first week

It was an pretty good game, but not near as good as other Call of Dutys in the series.  There's a reason it ended up selling less than Call of Duty 2 on the 360 overall.

But there is a difference between worst of the series and an abysmal game. Although it wasnt as good as others in the series it still was a great game in it own right.

^ You do have a point.
