If they bundled the game and did a price drop with it then i see it pulling ahead of MGS4 in the long run. Although MGS4 did good in Japan and I dont see that here, so US and Europe will have to pick up the slack.



Still waiting on a New Road Rash and Legend of Dragoon 2...

If it is going to be the savior for the PS3 that many here predict it better double MGS4 sales before the end of the year.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

I'd have to agree with Wiistation360 :P It'd be easy as pie if they bundled it. Who's to say they will or not, but totally doable.

Who exactly is claiming this will be the "savior" of the PS3? Why does the PS3 need saving? 8 million units by the end of 2009 is extremely unlikely.

That's incredibly hopeful considering "Killzone 1" only sold 750 000 LTD and the lowest selling, main franchise "Metal Gear Solid" has sold 4 Million. (4 is slightly lower for now but FAR from done selling)

They'd need to pull one HELL of a marketing campaign - I'd venture to say that most of the general public has never even heard of Killzone or know what it was. (I didn't until I started following these forums)

It's all about marketing. If Sony puts some millions into an agreesive marketing, good sales will follow.

if you are referring to the VGC numbers: they only talk about the US numbers, so it should be considerably higher than that when the "others" region is added.
