Samurai Toaster Popping Onto WiiWare
A visually unique 2D shooter is on the way.

January 5, 2009 - Today Semnat Studios unveiled its first game, a WiiWare-exclusive titled Eduardo the Samurai Toaster. A side-scrolling 2D shooter, Eduardo sports a unique art style scanned from hand drawn ink, paint, and charcoal images. The heroic toaster will be jumping, shooting, whipping, driving, flying, and throwing in order to defeat droves of murderous food items. Drop-in/drop-out co-op play will be available for up to four toasters. Or, if you're not feeling very friendly, you can throw each other around the screen and attack one another.
Vehicles at Eduardo's disposal include scooters with laser guns and jet packs. The adventure unfolds over 13 levels and includes the variety of power-ups you would expect from a 2D action game.
The art in Eduardo was hand drawn in different mediums (ink, paint, charcoal) then scanned into the game.
Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is right at the tail end of development and will arrive this winter (Q1 2009).
