God Ubisoft devs are lazy if they cant be bothered learning how to code the AI for the CELL.

This might very well be true, although it should be noted that the Splinter Cell games require much more complex AI than an FPS like Resistance, or a hack 'n slash like Heavenly Sword.

Look pretty clear to me that the whole "complaint" arose from the Cell being hard to code for, and Ubisoft rather blaming Sony than themselves. The question is: If a provenly competent developer has trouble making software for the manufacturer's hardware, is it the fault of the software, or the hardware guys? The other has the responsibilty to provide usable hardware, while the other's job is to beat the challenges and provide the games.

What a coincidence that people tend to side with the one they like the most. =P

Were do you get that heaven;y sword is hack and slash?

Do you really think Sony would tell the truth if the cell couldn't handle the AI?

Also, does this really matter??? In the big picture whether the PS3 can handle the AI or not, your still losing out on games because developers don't think its worth their time/money to get those games on the PS3. Heck even if you say the developers are lazy/stupid it doesn't really matter because your still losing out on games.

That is what really matters, in my opinion.

Please serious can you answer this did you played resistance?

One of the best points of that game was the AI that are words coming from
 Playstation magazines and multiplatformv
magazines.

Every console lose games but for sure it is not the fault of the PS3's AI.

That's how I'd describe the genre. You play an extremely powerful character with a hacking/slashing weapon (aka sword), and the main point of the game is to hack and slash every single son of Gork that comes your way, in a stylish and badass manner of course.

Not saying it as a bad thing, I really enjoy the genre. Loved both GoWs, and own a copy of Devil May Cry. Even though I don't have a PS2, go figure. =P

Excellent article starcraft, but unfortunately, 95% of people on this forum will not be able to understand it. It confirms what Ubi said... Cell is not exactly an AI powerhouse... but with clever programming you can do it.

Shame on you, marketing departments.

True but there is a lot of more elements in the game. Okay I don't have played the full game so I stop here.
