I may just leave gaming behind for a few gens. Lord knows i could use the spare time to stimulate growth in other areas of my life. I was afraid of becoming a lapsed gamer this generation because of how little it interested me overall(far too many fps and generic tps with less and less interesting titles in between).
It certainly doesn't seem impossible. Ill wait until February to see if this rumour by the Times plays out
You never know, there's a good chance in the future if things continue going the way they are now.

No. Sony might cease production until they sell out their supplies like Nintendo did with the GameCube in 2003 but discontinue it? No way.

Sony may start with an S like Sega, but I tell you this; Sony ALWAYS has a back up plan :P
There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.
of course it's going to be discontinued. Once their 10 year plan is done.
