No problem, I didn't want this to be a MGS4 thread ... I didn't see the artical as anything of the sort.

I don't really care about the series... At all. But if it did come to the 360, i would be happy, since the players who wanted it now get it, and that's just another fine exclusive gone the way of the multiplat.


I will, however, admit my hypocracy. I was mad when bioshock 2 went multiplat. Mainly because I feared it would lead to decreased 360 sales in the long term (remember, every exclusive matters, and the 360 needs every one it can get to cement a profitable lifetime)
I mean, why not let one console rake in insane amounts of money (wii) let another make a tiny profit (360) and another hemorrhage money (the triple), instead of one raking in alot of money (wii), and the other two being horrible disasters(ps3 and 360)


If there was only one hardcore console instead of two, things might not look as bad as they do.

This has nothing to do with the xbox 360 but with the internal development team of kojima productions. All Hideo has been stating (since 2008 in fact) is that he wants kojima production's games to compete on a global level because he feels that their games so far don't appeal to a global audience (despite the success of MGS4). Therefore, he wants to restructure kojima productions so they are more competitive agaisnt western developers.

The quote has simply been misconstrued to suggest that kojima productions are looking to develop on the xbox platform. This is yet another example of wishful thinking by xbox supporters...This article could just as well be on a wii forum lol

All it means is more multiplats.

@ OP - That seems like a Wii hint more than a 360 hint - The Wii has sold more then the 360 outside of Japan after all

Really and Truly I think he meant Quality of Games and the way they would appeal to western audiences. Now dont get me wrong but rumor has it that one of the titles will appeal to Eastern audiences and the other will appeal to the Western crowd. and I have a feeling either the eastern title will be Project S(Snatcher)/ Zone of The Enders 3 and a New IP for the Western audiences

To me it seems that Kojima is just going to lead the charge in making sure Japanese devs go back to where they started ...back to Zero

from what i got from the article is that he and his company, are looking into other options, than just the sony platforms to release their games on.

What is Kojima currently working on now?
