Why does Sony say they're losing ground to Nintendo? PS3 fans told me they weren't competing??

A lot of people dont realize how thin a line sony is walking atm. Sony is on the brink of bankruptcy as shareholders and large investors lose faith. It dosnt matter if they post high revenue but if theres no profit it dosnt mean anything since the high revenue comes from borrowed money. Sony has not choice but to do this although the matter of how drastic they will go will be kept from the majority of the public as not to lose shareholders faith even more.

Nintendo has yet to show a yearly loss in the 100+ years they been in business though and are sitting on 15+ billion dollars and growing in cash reserve as back up.

Yup nintendo has never loss money even in a recession due to busieness practice.
Sony has major problems beyond just the PS3 sales lagging. Not a shock changes are going to be made

Also, they have a small workforce and low expenses. With that kind of liquidity, I'd guess they can hedge far easier than Sony.
Also nintendo rarely ever lay off workforce. they have around 3000+ workforce atm.
