well, many core gamers hate the Wii, but Wii should not really care, Wii are going to enjoy Dragon Quest X, MH3, new Zelda, Conduit, motion plus and a hell of other games, Wii has the best 2009 lineup and i'm very afraid that Wii Motion Plus will be double monsterous than Wii Fit and Mario Kart..... i think it's time to change my sig, LoL!! |

Why not just buy ANOTHER console, instead of selling one for another? This I never understood: Whats the point in selling the Wii? Is $250 really going to make you that much richer? What are you gonna do the day a great game for the Wii gets released? I own a ps3 and wii and Im very happy playing/switching between both Call of Duty and No More Heroes every other day.
Yea theres a slight drought for the Wii right now, but for crying out loud, if you owned a gamecube or a xbox, which had droughts for YEARS, this shouldn't even faze you.

Right, this article is trying to pass opinion as fact, just like countless other articles (on all sides) do. I can respect that the Wii is not for someone. However, to try to say that there are no hardcore games coming out in 2009 for it, and trying to "save" them by selling the Wii toward "its market" to get a 360 screams of ignorance and fanboyism.
As someone who's been gaming since the days of the 2600, I personally prefer the Wii for the current generation. Games are supposed to be fun. For me, the different ways of playing is fun; it prevents everything from feeling like the same old, same old. Other people prefer a graphics fest for immersion; that's fine, but it's not me. If you are having fun with your system, that's what matters. It'd be like someone saying "The PS3's sales were down this holiday season, so it's dead!" or "The 360's sales have died in Japan, so no more good Japanese games will be made for it!" Who cares? You bought it to have fun (I hope), and that's what you're doing (I hope). Besides, if you're that easily influenced, I think there's other issues at hand...

Wrong, the Wii's lineup is the best, for some people, like myself, which is why I have no desire to buy a PS3 or a 360.
Now best is a subjective opinion, I may feel the Wii's lineup is the best while you may not, neither person is right or wrong.
