Forums - Microsoft - I haven't really "gotten into" Left 4 Dead yet.

I absolutely loved the opening levels of left for dead when the demos were released. It was actually the most wanted game on my christmas list.

But, after I get the real game, I can't really "get into" it. Maybe It's the fact that the levels all have the same feeling to them.. Or it doesn't really get that varied.

In fact, versus mode has been the only part where I've almost gotten into the game.  But then, what's the point, when assholes frequently use glitches on the no mercy campaign??

This is not to say the game isn't good, but just to vent my frustration. I don't know, maybe I just ain't in the mood for high intensity game right now?

If you can't play the game with some friends it is not so fun.

^^' If I play it alone I get quickly bored.

So should i get it? Or the much cheaper bioshock?

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

If you want a great singleplayer experience get Bioshock. If you have some friends who you can play with and are not dicks get LEFt4DEAD.

Bioshock is probably the best atmospheric game this gen. Well, I like the 50's failed Utopian society setting. It really gets even better if you try to find all the audio tapes... Kind of reveals important things in the story in a cool way.

Bioshock is a great single player gaming experience!

Left4Dead is more about multiplayer, get your mates to get it and play together or chance it with random people which can be a bit hit and miss but when you have people really into it its a great laugh!!

Hopefully some of the problems like being able to block the elevator so you cannot get out will be fixed soon and more content added!

I think the developers commentary was a really cool feature they added though, anyone try that out yet?

Not yet.  Forgot that was there.  The other ones have been good to listen too!

I would say BioShock, Stubbsy. The single player is far better, and L4D is only at its full awesomeness when there are people with you, screaming at you to get the hunter off them.

That is too tough a choice to make ;)

If you can, get both, but if time/money is tight then (as much as I love L4D) Bioshock would be your best bet ..
