The Wii fans would say that the Wii should not be considered as competitor of the HD consoles, if the Wii was losing.

While LBP is a kiddie game and can be played by kids, but most kids could never make a really complicated level. The game is really for everybody.

The PS3 will probably have a 10 year life span (LIKE EVERY OTHER PS!). But who ever said it'll win even with it? Sersiously, GTFO of 2007!

What I am sick and tired of in Sony fans, is whenever someone posts something negative about the PS3, there is always someone who is going to put that person down.
Not matter what the content of the negative response was, be it a realistic response to something completely unrealistic said by a Sony fanboy, or a flame post responding to another flame post (made by a Sony fanboy), someone is there to put that person down, for insulting their dearest of consoles.

I can't stand it! It was posted that Quantum Theory would sell millions in one thread, after which a non-Sony supporter came in and doubted whether the game would in fact move that much software. Shortly thereafter, a post was made saying how it was typical for that person to post something anti-Sony.
In my eyes, this kind of behavior is despicable. I can't fucking stand it, and it reeks so bad of desperacy. It puts a bad name towards Playstation supporters on this site, and if I had it my way, these people should STFU or GTFO.

Then there is another form of behavior I find despicable, one I find almost exclusive to Sony supporters at the moment. No matter what a topic is about, a way to turn it into a talk of how great all the PS3 exclusives are, exists. There is always an excuse to bring up games like Heavy Rain, Uncharted 2 etc. and talk about how they will pwn every game the competition has in the works. And talking about that is fine, but do it in the designated threads and stop derailing other threads at every opportunity.
All it is, is small spasmic movements to try and reassure yourselves that the PS3 is not doomed. Now, I am not saying that the PS3 is doomed, what I am saying is that people are going about it in the wrong way.

I meet very few SONY fans that act like what's described in the OP. And as for that saving thing... I find that MS and Nintendo fans label certain games as "Sony Saviors" just because a large amount of SONY fans think that the game will be awesome.....

Anyway, this thread feels like it will explode into a flame fest. I blame pointless rants...

I can't be bothered to read all that, but does it really say that they will win? I could understand doing better compared to now, but not win...

The PS2 should also be considered in this.

If it was not around sales of all 3 systems would certainly be higher and therefore it is competing this generation.

You know when the next gen consoles of MS and Nintendo are out the PS3 will already have had a head start on them. And because the Wii and 360 will be pulled out they can’t sell anymore and that is when PS3 will keep on selling. This will automatically make the PS3 the winner when it has sold more than the Wii even though the race was over ;)

I should add that as another way to make Sony seem like the winner ;)

I doubt the PS3 could catch up to the Wii, even if the Wii is taken of the market in 3 years, and the PS3 is out for another 8 years...
