I'm sure you're about to claim that Zelda is part of its own unique genre and can't be compared to any other game just like every other Nintendo game apparantly (FPA...*sigh*). Here are a few games I consider to be similar and better:

Dark Chronicle, Dark Cloud, ES3:Morrowind, ES4:Oblivion, Baldur's Gate series, Diablo series.

This opinion piece was fine up until this point. You spent your money and your time on Wii, and apparantly you didn't enjoy it like others have. That's just fine, it's your life and you can move on.

But when you start to apply your opinion as fact, then there's a problem. Every other HD Console owner isn't like you. They could actually enjoy the games that you have already mentioned. And we haven't even gotten to members here who actually play their Wii more than they do their other HD Consoles. Crazy, I know, but there's gamers everywhere who don't agree that HD Gamers "have it a lot better".

So if you really didn't enjoy it in the 9 days that you've had it for, then reuturn it and use your money on some PS3 games. There's always someone else that can enjoy your Wii. Yep, enjoy it.

You just listed a slew of RPGs. That is not the same genre, genius.

The fact that you put 4/10 for MP3 makes me really suspiscious because that game is down right incredible.

I can understand the Zack and Wiki hating though because I didn;t think that was that good either. But why did you buy the game if you don't like point and click puzzle games. did you do any research?

Would you like to tell me the difference between Zelda TP and an action RPG? You walk around towns and dungeons, questing, collecting items, killing monsters, talking to NPCs.. the only difference is Zelda is missing everything to do with levelling and skill development.

You could have saved yourself a lot of time and money by reading game reviews, instead of just looking at the highest Metacritic final scores and blindly buying them. If you do not like certain genres, buying a game in that genre, even if it is highly rated, does not make sense. A lot of the reasons why you did not like these games could be found by reading a review or two and realizing that particular game is not for you.

It would be like somebody who hate shooters blindly buying 10 highly rated 360 games and then complaining that there is too much shooting.

i'm quite desapointed with the wii too... i own the system about 5 months from now and it gave me some real good moments, but wasn't that all what i've expected...

i could claim "resident evil 4", "SSBB", "mario kart wii", "call of duty WaW" "tales of symphonia: DoaNW" and "dbz budokai tenkaichi 3" as the great games i've played... but that's all... i really miss the hardcore games... and look, i have played a lot of other games! super mario galaxy and no more heroes included...

think i should have bought a 360 though...

RPG=/= Action Adventure. Also FPA is a sub-genre of Action-Adventure. These are action adventure games that take place in the first person view. Similar to how the Shooter genre is divided into FPS, TPS, 2d Shooter, etc. Also genres could  be clasiffied in even more general terms like Action. Calling the Metroid Prime series a FPS is similar to calling the 2d Metroids 2d Shooters. It is just not true. Metroid Prime has more similarities to Zelda(another ACTION-ADVENTURE) than it does to Halo.
