If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Because Sony has a history of monopolizing 3rd party titles and getting all the praise for it. It's also a Japanese company that stakes everything on name value and every gen trying to change the mass market video format for their own benefit. This gen the tables have turned.

I just dont see enough exclusives on the 360 that interest me to warrant the purchase, and i think that shows in the GOTY 08' and the coming titles for PS3 09'.

Its not for everyone, but all i know is when i hear the next Final Fantasy, MGS, GT, God of War games are coming out i cant wait because they never fail to take it up a notch, whereas when I hear about the next Mario game, i just feel a bit jaded about it all.

Just one persons opinion.

The PS3 is not head to head against the Wii this gen. The PS3 is up against the 360. The PS3 couldn't hold the Wii's jock as the Wii is in another stratusphere.

I don't ever remember insulting the PS2 or PS1 when they were winning last gen to the extent that the Wii is getting now.

That site is full of ignorant fanboys who would rather bend over and take it from Sony then purchase the Wii.

Well i think it it pretty clear that i am talking about my own personal experience as a PS3 & Wii owner. How successful the consoles are compared to one another is of consequence in this discussion.

If you prefer the Wii then more power to you, having played both consoles i personally prefer the PS3 by a wide margin - im not going to pretend i prefer the Wii just because it is winning the console war, that would be childish on my part.

Granted, ps1 and ps2 overall may have had the best games due to the sheer volume of games available for them, but this gen Microsoft clearly has the best overall games and the reason why is simple, the sheer volume of games available for the 360 outshines the number available for the ps3 by a big margin.

Times have changed, developers clearly prefer the 360 and the only thing keeping sony alive is the development teams/individuals that they stole from other companies back in the day with their fat wallets.

I still to this day get p*ssed when i hear or see sony been praised when clearly it was 3rd party companies like konami, namco and square that got sony to where they are today.

REAL LEGENDS in the gaming business............. Sega, Nintendo, Capcom, Atari, Konami, Square, Namco Rockstar, ect ect.
