it funny that this guy come on here to talk junk about the wii and only reason why he brought this topic up is becuase wii beat 360 and ps3 at the console war that why .

You caught one, Dinomax.

Okay, here's a hint. Go look at Dinomax's game collection.

I think that he was talking about the user Erick Aston also. I looked at Dinomax's game collection and he has quite a few Nintendo games, but I've known many people who had Nintendo systems and quite a few games, but they really don't like Nintendo that much and they really liked Sony, or Microsoft. It's not that's wrong, but what I'm saying is just because you got systems of this company doesn't mean your a fan, or you even like them. You may just like that system, or a few games to it. I've seen a lot of people on here and other forums that own a Wii and lots of games, but there complaining, or talking junk and saying the other consoles are better. I'm not saying Dinomax isn't a Nintendo fan, or doesn't like Nintendo and it seems he was just joking, but topics like this are getting old and maybe they were funny at first, but I don't even think there funny at all. I see topics like this on here and other forums everyday and it's just getting annoying and you got to realize, a lot of people probably thought he was serious. I just think everyone is getting so used to the Wii hate when someone comes up with a topic like this they just think that the person hates the Wii, or dislikes Nintendo.

Sorry, it double posted.

^I am pretty sure that dinomax's post is a satire on the pettiness of HD fanboys.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

And I think Dinomax is an alt account of Numunex. Don't have proof, though...

Anyway, whoever writes this posts has suffers from some kind of Jeckyll and Hide syndrome. But is kinda fun.

This will lead to the company's downfall? Hardly.

Mario Kart Wii was the highest selling game this year other than Wii Sports, Fit and Play.

It wasn't considered for any awards, and was reviewed very poorly compared to other Mario Karts. Why? Because the gaming media is out of touch.

No, it's because Mario Kart Wii wasn't that great. It wasn't even the best game released in April, nor even the best racing game this year.
It was just another Mario Kart game, hardly any different from the one released a decade ago. And all of sudden because it sells amazingly well, it deserves GOTY? No.

When the best and most feature packed Mario Kart gets the worst review score for the series (to my knowledge) there is something horribly wrong.

So it looks like it is ok to say things like that if you are "being sarcastic". Good to know. :D

I think only the oldest posters on the site know Erik Aston ( it's like falling for a Rol joke ).

you fail to see that gaming is not just about monsters, aliens, blood and guns, no more!!

so really, who cares, i'm sure Nintendo does not give a fuck about Game of the Year Awards

you can keep your awards, where Nintendo can keep the sales and the money of course

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

Ever think that maybe due to economy and production cost, the "epic game" is dying off? Hell, even Sony said last gen that shorter games were the future of gaming. Don't expect huge games like MGS4 in the future.
