Forums - Nintendo - The Nintendo Wii should just leave the console race 'Hear me out please'

Why on earth do you care about 360 and PS3 sales so much? Are Sony and Microsoft sending you money? I love how you dismiss the Wii as not being competition, but then you want it to drop out because it's taking HD console sales away. Nintendo isn't goin anywhere this gen, Sony needs to stop being so cocky, and Microsoft needs to fix their hardware issues.

If we’re going with the boxing analogy here’s how I see it. You have these two heavyweight boxing champions punching away at each other and one of the punches knocks some sweat off one of the boxers on to a person in the front row. This guy is a 98 lb nursery schoolteacher with coke bottle glasses. He jumps into the ring and proceeds to beat the hell out of both contenders making them black and blue and toothless then for good measure he teabags both of them.

I’d want him to stop too! And I'd do my best to ignore the beating, to bad it was televised to the world.

Okay. Let's see if I have this right. The 360 and PS3 are heavyweight boxers and the Wii is the referee. Wouldn't it be embarassing to Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield if Mills Lane pummeled them both in the first round because he felt like it? If your logic makes sense than so would Mills kicking the crap out of both of them in 35 seconds.

I like the fighting analogy. However, I feel it's more like a triple threat in wrestling. Here's the visual representation of the three way fight between the Wii, PS3 and 360...

Guess which one the Wii is.

^^^^^ The 360 (Guy on the left) is the the second winner cause he's going to be the second one to hit the ground! take that PS3!

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Sad day for VGchartz.

xbox360 is an all around platform catering to all types of gamers, whether casual, average and hardcore. XBOX live is unrivaled when it comes to online compatibility. Though PSN might be free, the overall experience is lacking.
