Yes, we had some slow-down and while our new hardware was able to handle the load, we unfortunately hit a ceiling on bandwidth.

Anyway, congrats to Naznatips and thanks to ALL of the contributors for these GoTY articles. They've been highly visible and attracting new guests to our site - hopefully some of these guests will be creating accounts and joining our awesome community... ;)

judging by the fact we have 312 members on in the middle of the afternoon I would say your plan was a success. This is THE most informative VG site with by far the most mature and deep thinking community. I think the fact the site is built on numbers and analysis keeps alot of the dumbasses away (they dont understand it).

Glad to see the continued growth of this site, when I first got here, the average amount of users online was about 700, and only maybe 100-120 members...

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million 3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
