Also: If they're going to make the argument that graphics don't make a game why is Bioshock 1 point higher and a perfect 10 on 360. |
It seems like its in the normal range, there aren't really any unexplainable inconsistancies here. Its up to the individual reviewers taste and the factors they consider when they review games. The fact that MGS4 was extremely subjective to many people considering the length of cutscenes is probably the biggest sore point of their PS3 reviews.

I have never seen a topic explode by a hundred posts so quickly with so little actual content before.
I still think that their prediction is worrisome - more as a practice than as a comment on a game, though. Why even say this sort of thing?

If this game is anything but a 90+ game I will be disapointed, and that will be beneath what I expect from this game. I've played the Beta, and I will still buy the game but in any case. I won't be disapointed because of the reviews themselves, but what the Metacritic score will indicate about the overall sales. Sony needs a top class FPS exclusive and it needs a top class seller, if it broaches the 90% mark for one the other will likely follow too.

Well gamedaily does rank as one of the (or perhaps the) worst gaming site I know... They're terribly sensationalistic.
