Forums - Nintendo - Bleach:Versus Crusade impresstions Thread. Treasure Co. First Wii Project!

I highly doubt anyone in this damn site gives a damn and even if they do I doubt they'll buy it >.<

This is sloppy fucking impressions thread but I need to go so sorry about that.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This game is fast! I mean really fast.....in every sense of the word. Its fast. Load times? What load times? This game hardly ever keep you waiting. Menus are quick dont wanna see something skip bam straight to the next fight wana quit your in the main screen already. Any where you wanna go in the game takes no more than 3 seconds at longest.

Fighting. This is the fastest fighting game ive ever played. Faster than any DBZ game. Up to four characters at screen once all doing serious damage. Switching between characters happens in an instant. No flying or jump in with a pose. Press UP on the Dpad and you switch in an instant. Press C and your using *sonido* to speed all around the environment until your gauge is empty. Let it refill quickly and  your doing it again.

Story mode. Fast. You can beat the main story mode in one sitting if you so choose. And get a hell of a lot better in that one sitting. Of course theres alternate paths you can take depending on your answer to certain question which extends gameplay.

This game is also as hard as you want it to be. Want a challenge? Up the difficulty and have fun pulling your hair out. Normal also isnt a simple as you might think.

SOUND! - The sound in this game is briliant. Original JAP VO is done extremely well. Way over the HTS series. Not just their VO either but music and sound effects. You dont have lame guitars or other garbage. Its well though music for this game that fits the atmosphere in each fights. Also sword swipes are getting hit with a strong attack sound amazing.

Gameplay! - Wiimote/Nunchuck. C lets you speed around the damn environments fast. Give you that quick figt feeling just like in the anime. Down bring players up for assists UP switches partner. Regular attacks are done by hitting the A button others by B. While holding Z and either A/B will perform specific more powerful attacks. Swing the remote to swipe your sword to then transfer to a combo and depending on the the direction of the swing you'll do different attacks to extend the combo also in this combo midway you can press DOWN to call you partner to assist you in this combo to empty nearly all their health in up to 20-30 hit combo. These combos might feel like a waggle fest but it works. If youre one to complain though CC and GCN controllers are options. To release your bankai simply hold Z and wave nunchuck to the left and right quickly. It responds instantly.
Some characters are more ranged attackers using mainly magic attacks will others are strictly melee fighters.
All Characters are all well balanced.

Graphics! - This game looks great. Character cell-shaded models look amazing. Environments all look well polished. Only complaint that some of the bankai releases are rehashed from terrible Shattered Blade.
Allt their blasts look great. This game is colorful and uses all colors well.
Story telling is done through dialogue boxes and character portratits which makes sense since this game passes the currently airing anime. It follows the manga strictly.!

Shit this went way longer then i wanted it too.

Final! - The Wii has been getting alot of great fighters. This game adds to it. Id say its the best fighting game since Brawl. If you want really FAST fighting game that'll keep you engaged throughout each battle. BUY Bleach:Versus Crusade! Treasure does NOT disappoint.

Bleach Fans! - Dont fucking hesitsate! This is the best bleach fighting game on a console so far and its amazing. This is my fanboy side of the anime talking. It follows the story of the manga where he meets Shinji and passes the current episodes aired so far. Its full of fanservice with all the characters you care about and none of the ones you dont. Only the big fighters in this one. Theres is even a Grimmjow side story! Forget Bleach: Shattered Blade

Is the game multiplayer co-op? If so, I will import today.

I've been playing this game too, and I think it's pretty fun albeit a tad shallow. I would've enjoyed having more characters, seeing as they aren't really deeply developed anyway, but the roster has 25 to choose from so it's not so bad. Levels are pretty bland, but they get the job done by accurately depicting areas from the anime/manga, and as the OP says the main point of the battles is how fast they can go.

If you like Bleach, you should pick it up. If you don't like Bleach, it might not be such a good idea.

Is this thing ever gonna hit PAL consoles?

My bad late post. Yea it has both local and online. Though good luck trying to find a match. Random you'll hardly find one. Guess you need to exchange friend codes.
