they become hooked on a particular soda also known as 'The coke effect'. Let me explain my story it all started back in 2002 when that beautiful drink ' Coke Vanilla' was released. I was left speechless when I drank it for the first time, I knew that I drunk something special. I was an addict betweem 2002 - 2005, but unfortunately Coca-Cola decided to end the drink's lifecycle. I was devastated I ran to my nearby supermarket and bought 4 cases of Coke Vanila but those 4 cases were consumed within a week.

My favourite drink had been canned I did not know how to recover, but as time went on I went through another phase also known as 'The Dr Pepper effect' for a few good months Dr Pepper was my no1 drink, but in the back of my mind I always knew that 'Coke Vanilla' could never be replaced. However that all changed on May 2006.

My mum asked me to get some stuff from this 'Somali Shop'. This shop had some many exotic drinks but it was one drink that caught my attention I had seen this drink in many American movies so I was intrigued what it would taste like. That drink was 'Mountain Dew' I knew when I drank it that this drink was special. I became an addict again between 06 -07 Mountain Dew was my drink, but unfortunately on November 07 I got the new i was dreading. The shop would no longer sell Mountain dew, I was devasated again. For the time being Coke Cherry/Fanta orange are a temporarily replacement.

Just a little taste of Coke Vanilla and i'm back in 2002!

Q1 - Do they have Coke Vanilla in America?

Q2 - Will they bring Coke vanilla back?

I liked vanilla coke, but theres better. I have always been intruiged to try Mountain Dew though, I think its the name, it sounds refreshing : )

I like the american Dr. Pepper, here in Mexico it has a different formula.

Yes, they reintroduced Vanilla Coke (now known as "Coca-Cola Vanilla") approximately 1 1/2 years ago. In fact, I plan on drinking Vanilla Coke today.

I don't mind it on the 2 liters but on the cans too? C'mon!
