I stopped reading when he wrote:

"For example, Dragon Quest X, is coming out on the Wii, simply for the fact that it's the market leader. It could be so much better and the developers could have so much more freedom had they put this out on the 360 or the ps3."

The truth is that the JRPG genre hasn't (really) advanced since the SNES in any major way except for production values, and if the advancement in visuals brought forward by the XBox 360 and PS3 were so worthwhile to the JRPG genre you'd think that there would be a really good JRPG for those platforms with how many JRPG games have already been released.

Finally, if you don't want to be playing Wii play for the rest of your life buy another game!

What I'm trying to say is companies look at the success of wii play and suddenly every game is the same as wii play

I know, I looked at Mad World and thought "Didn't this game come with a controller when the Wii was new?"

If you really want to look at developers producing games who are churning out generic games look at the vast array of FPS on the XBox 360 ... Unlike the Wii Play clones (which are primarily produced by small publishers and developed by small studios) these games are being published by the biggest publishers in the industry and losing so much money because of their high development costs that the publishers are rapidly going bankrupt.

I was with you until the bolded.  There are indeed some really good JRPG's out there for both the PS3 and the 360.  I find it hard to believe you actually think the bolded is true, and if you'd like me to argue in defense of Valkyria I certainly will.

There have been over 100 shooter games released for the XBox 360 and you're going to blame the 25 (or so) Party games on the Wii for destroying the industry?

Oh, I see. We're going to play that game where people post reasonable arguments which you either ignore or reply with a silly one-liner with practically zero content.

Sounds like fun... back in 2007 when the argument in the OP didn't look as silly as it does today.

@HappySquirrel: Sorry, but I don't understand why you waste your time with this thread.

you need a new definition of the word kill.

Unless your this guy.
