Well, maybe they have bought into the current gen, but prefer to play their older games. The poll doesn't specify which consoles are actually owned, only played.

I've always wondered how backwards compatability is factoed in.

Does playing a GC game or VC game on the Wii count towards the Wii? or GC/Others?

Hmm, this can only be good news for Microsoft.

I wonder what the numbers imply for the Wii? More casual userbase = less average playtime per console inspite of the greater % of people using it?
