FFIX is the better game by far.

As far as Crisis Core, I would assume you play FFVII first since it, you know, came out first.

I prefer FFIX I love the old school feel.

IX is better than VII but VII is more important.

FFVII is better by FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR.

IX was still an amazing title though.

 That is why I said "Pretty much anyone" because of course we will have those who prefer FFVII over the others.

Still surprised you like VII the best when you played VI first. Kefka is so much cooler than Sephiroth.

Kefka was realy cool. FFVI's characters are indeed more memorable than any FF characters I can think of. But I enjoyed VII's story more.

Looks like you're in the minority on these boards, at least.  I liked 7 the most too.  The only thing any FF has over 7 is graphics.  The only game I liked nearly as much as 7 is X.  6 has good characters, but that's about it.  I even like 8 a lot more than 9.  Not that I dislike 9 or anything, most rpg's dont come even close to the same level as any of these games.  The only FF game i've ever disliked is 12.  I'm about 3/4 the way through that boring grind-tastic pos, and I just have absolutely no motivation to load it up again.  If Balthier was replaced with a character as boring as the rest of the cast, I doubt I would have even made it halfway through it.

I'll accept that, though I'll also say that FFVII is the game that ruined the franchise too.
